Yeah, I know there are live versions out there without the field recording, but I haven't actively sought them out. The funny thing is, I was looking up a little more about the song, and that interview was recorded at a (still active) arts space right in Providence lol. I should go and listen for the ghost of someone ranting about guns and parking tickets.
